Dear Ken, Fans, and Motocross Family,
As I sit here reflecting on this incredible season, I want to take a moment to address someone who has been an inspiration to me and to so many others in this sport—Ken Roczen.
Ken, you’ve been an absolute legend in motocross, and your journey has been nothing short of incredible. From your early success to the adversity you’ve faced and the way you’ve handled it with grace and resilience, you’ve shown us all what it means to fight for your passion. I don’t think anyone could have predicted how hard you’d have to push to get back to where you are now, but watching you battle through it all has been inspiring. You’ve set a standard for what it means to never give up, and for that, I have the utmost respect for you.
For me personally, racing with and against you has been such a privilege. You’ve been one of the top guys for as long as I can remember, and now, to have the opportunity to race alongside you, learn from you, and even challenge you on the track, has been a dream come true. I’m thankful for the lessons you’ve taught me—whether it’s how to carry myself in and out of the pits or how to handle the pressure when the gate drops. Your consistency, your professionalism, and your ability to perform under pressure have been invaluable examples for me.
To the fans, thank you for supporting not just me, but everyone who gives everything to this sport. The energy and passion you bring to every race, every event, every moment is unmatched. The motocross community is more than just a sport—it’s a family, and we wouldn’t be here without you. Whether you’re cheering from the stands, watching from home, or showing up to local races, your dedication to the sport means the world to us riders.
Finally, to the entire motocross community—thank you for keeping the spirit of the sport alive. From the riders to the mechanics, the sponsors, the teams, and all the fans in between, we are all part of something bigger than just racing. Motocross is a brotherhood, and I’m honored to be part of it, racing alongside guys like Ken, who set the bar higher every time they race.
