The Green Bay Packers inducted their 26th fan into the Packers Fan Hall of Fame this week.
Dan “Bogie” Bogenschuetz received the most votes in the contest. The Packers described him as a “loyal and
passionate” fan who has spent the previous few decades organizing trips and experiences for thousands of fans
around the state.
“He serves as a true Packers ambassador, bringing people to other cities to experience away games and cheer on the
team across the country, and sometimes even across the world,” the Green Bay Packers said in a statement.
Bogenschuetz is from Sheboygan and accepted his medal on Monday.
“Again, thank you, everybody, this really, really means a lot to me,” the man stated. “Go Pack Go!”
The Packers were the first professional football team to have a hall of fame, and the honor was expanded in 1998 to
include one for fans. According to a press release from the organization, it was formed to honor a devoted and long-
time Packers fan.
The winner will get four club seats to a Packers home game, including four pre-game sideline passes, four passes to
the Packers Hall of Fame, a $500 Packers Pro Shop gift card, a custom Packers jersey, and a one-year subscription to
