Cincinnati — According to Mike Silver, the Bengals interviewed Andy Dickerson, former Seattle Seahawks offensive line coach, for the position of offensive coordinator.
Dickerson worked for the Rams under Sean McVay in 2018-19. Zac Taylor, the Bengals’ head coach, was on that coaching staff in 2018.
The 41-year-old has 18 years of experience, having spent the last three seasons with Seattle.
Before naming their next offensive coordinator, the Bengals must have interviews with at least two external minority candidates.
Quarterbacks coach Dan Pitcher remains the favorite, but the Bengals will interview a few more individuals before making a choice.
