Hello, everyone. Good afternoon. Welcome back to Garaboldy Reds, a Nottingham Forest podcast produced by
Nottinghamshire Live. I’m Max Peez, your host, and I’m here today to talk about the Forest transfer window and
look ahead to Bournemouth on Sunday. Join me to discuss all of that and more. Max Scott is a Talk Sport
Broadcaster and Forest supporter. Max, I guess yesterday was a very busy day for you, or perhaps not, given that
Deadline Day isn’t what it used to be.
Yes, it’s somewhat of an anticlimax. I believe that when the sporting story of Transfer Deadline Day is an F1 story,
such as Lewis Hamilton joining Ferrari, you know that there are changing tides in the football finance sector, and
we’re witnessing the effects of that on Deadline Day. However, Transfer Deadline Day is always thrilling. So, yes, it
was good.
Okay, no, good stuff. We’re also live on YouTube and Facebook, as is Nottingham Forest News, which Gary has
already read on YouTube. So, if you have any thoughts on the January transfer window, what you did with it, or anything else, please share them. And Max and I will try our best to answer them and converse. Max, I believe we
should start with an unusual January transfer window for Forest, possibly the quietest in a long time, despite the fact

zero strategy, what did you actually made to the window before we have a
It’s a simple question, but I believe it’s tough to answer. What do I make of the window? We’ve grown accustomed to
players coming in. I believe the main story of the Forest Transfer window is Mangala’s departure. He’s likely been
our most consistent player since the beginning of the season, one of our top performers who is really composed on
the ball. I believe he is simply incredibly consistent, which is ideal for a team like Forest, who are suffering toward
the bottom of the league.
