Red Bull drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez have commented on the ongoing inquiry into Team Principal
Christian Horner’s alleged ‘inappropriate behaviour’.
The Briton was present at the Milton Keynes-based team’s season launch on Thursday [February 15] to unveil the
RB20, which the team hopes can secure a third consecutive championship double.
This is despite the probe, which has sparked questions about Horner’s future at Red Bull.
Verstappen reacted to rumors of rifts among team members in an interview with RacingNews365, saying, “It’s the
same as always.
“I don’t know who likes to write these things but to me, Christian is like always.”
When asked if Horner’s inquiry was becoming a distraction, the three-time champion responded: “From my side, I
am very focused on my own performance to get ready, to be fit, to be ready to drive the car, to be discussing things
with the engineers, what you want to do.”
“Plus, my life isn’t only about Formula One. When I’m at home, I try not to think about F1 too much aside from my
scheduled training. There are many things going on in the background for me, including what I want to do in the
future on the virtual side of things that I’m working on.
