On Friday, January 12, the tabloid said on its website that the teenage left-back is “likely” to leave this month.
TEAMtalk also mentioned that Marseille, Rangers, and a few more Championship teams are interested in the defender.
Given that the player is undoubtedly on the rise, there appears to be a serious competition for the Hellas Verona star this month.
The likes of rival Serie A clubs Sassuolo, Atalanta and Torino are also seemingly seeking the 21-year-old, who has made 13 appearances in all competitions for his present side.
The youngster is evidently highly regarded there, with Hellas Verona deploying the Scot as both a left-back and left midfielder.
Due of his versatility, a lot of teams are vying for his signature, and his present team may not have much luck in convincing him to stay for the rest of the season.
Before moving to Italy, the youthful player excelled at Scottish club Hibernian, making 78 games for the Edinburgh team despite his advanced age.
It remains to be seen if the defender makes it to 40 games for Hellas Verona, but he is getting close.
