Pittsburgh In order to add some depth to their special teams before traveling to Buffalo to play the
Bills on Wild Card Weekend, the Pittsburgh Steelers made a roster change this week.
Punter Brad Wing was signed to the practice squad by the Steelers for the second time this season.
The team made the announcement.
Earlier in the season, Wing filled in for starting punter Pressley Harvin for two games while he was
sidelined due to injury. He participated in two games: the Week 5 matchup with the Baltimore
Ravens and the Week 4 game away to the Houston Texans.
In those two games, he attempted 11 punts, averaging 38.9 net yards per attempt. He also scored
two touchbacks and successfully placed three punts within the 20-yard line.
Wing played in 16 games for the Steelers in 2014, when he averaged 43.7 yards per punt and made
20 kicks inside the opponent’s 20-yard line. Wing has some history with the team.
Throughout his career, the former LSU undrafted free agent has also played for the Philadelphia
Eagles and New York Giants.
