DEAL DONE: Steelers Sign a key player Again Prior to Playoffs….

Pittsburgh In order to add some depth to their special teams before traveling to Buffalo to play the

Bills on Wild Card Weekend, the Pittsburgh Steelers made a roster change this week.

Punter Brad Wing was signed to the practice squad by the Steelers for the second time this season.

The team made the announcement.

Earlier in the season, Wing filled in for starting punter Pressley Harvin for two games while he was

sidelined due to injury. He participated in two games: the Week 5 matchup with the Baltimore

Ravens and the Week 4 game away to the Houston Texans.

In those two games, he attempted 11 punts, averaging 38.9 net yards per attempt. He also scored

two touchbacks and successfully placed three punts within the 20-yard line.

Wing played in 16 games for the Steelers in 2014, when he averaged 43.7 yards per punt and made

20 kicks inside the opponent’s 20-yard line. Wing has some history with the team.

Throughout his career, the former LSU undrafted free agent has also played for the Philadelphia

Eagles and New York Giants.
