Christian Watson was out for the Green Bay Packers’ game because of a hamstring injury he sustained during practice the previous week. The Packers have scored 38 points in his absence—a total they only accomplished twice during the whole previous campaign while starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers was in the lineup.
Regretfully, after scoring a score on a throw from Jordan Love, the club had to see running back Aaron Jones leave with a tight hamstring. Quay Walker later left with a head injury after intercepting Bears quarterback Justin Fields and returning it for a touchdown.
Still, the Packers were not immune to the injury plague. Jayden Reed, a rookie wide receiver, needed assistance leaving the field after trying to catch a high throw.
The Packers said that Reed was unable to bear any weight on his leg due to cramping. It seems doubtful if he will play out the rest of the game.
Green Bay is in for some good news with this. It doesn’t seem like any of the injuries sustained by the Packers today will prevent any players from playing for very long.
Reed has two receptions for 48 yards to cap off his day. In addition, he had three punt returns for 54 yards. He went back into 30 yards of Bears territory with one of them.
