The seven-time World Snooker Champion tweeted his confirmation of the deal, expressing his excitement to work with the business and ending with the phrase “Stay tuned!”
He uploaded a picture of himself with We1Win, referring to the company as the “largest online entertainment platform in Southeast Asia,” signing the agreement.
The committee took note of the fact that the two sides’ agreement regarding Brand Ambassadors is valid only for 2022 and 2023.
We1Win, a snooker player who is already a brand ambassador for ROKiT, Eurosport, and BCE Riley, is added to O’Sullivan’s roster of sponsorships.
Additionally, O’Sullivan was named as the new Brand Ambassador by international sports betting and casino operator Delasport earlier this year. The snooker star will participate in an integrated online and offline media campaign and wear the group’s sponsorship patch at major tournaments.
Earlier this week, the 47-year-old world champion and current number one celebrated his birthday. Additionally, O’Sullivan broke the record for the fastest televised century break in 1996 when he struck a century in three minutes and 34 seconds last week at the 2022 Scottish Open—just three seconds slower.
The 47-year-old is the player with the most Triple Crown victories, having won a record seven Masters and a record seven UK Championship crowns combined. With 39 ranking championships, he also holds the record for most ranking titles.
The most recent Brand Ambassador of BetMGM is former US Men’s National Soccer Team goalie Tim Howard, while the most recent Brand Ambassador of Bet99 is Toronto FC forward Sebastian Giovinco.
