Today, the Razorbacks and head coach Dave Van Horn revealed their 2024 signing class, which includes two junior
college players and 17 top high school players who have signed National Letters of Intent.
Perfect Game’s recruiting rankings place Arkansas’ 2024 signing class at No. 18. This marks the ninth year in a row
that Van Horn, with help from Nate Thompson, Matt Hobbs, and Bobby Wernes, has brought in a class that is
ranked in the top 20.
Van Horn congratulated the signing class of this year. “Coaches Thompson, Hobbs, and Wernes put in endless hours
to find players who would fit into our program, have a strong desire to improve, grow, and enjoy working very hard.
We think this group has a bright future, and we can’t wait to welcome them to Baum-Walker Stadium.
Nine position players, including four outfielders, three infielders, and two catchers, and ten pitchers, comprising
eight right-handers and two left-handers, make up Arkansas’ 19-man signing class. Eight different states are
represented by the group of Razorback signees this year: Arkansas (7), California (2), Georgia (1), Kansas (1),
Missouri (1), Oklahoma (2), Texas (3). The signees are from two different countries: the United States (18) and
Australia (1).
The recruiting coordinator for Arkansas, Thompson, stated, “We’re excited to welcome each new member of the
2024 signing class to the Razorback family.” The crew is ecstatic that these young men have chosen to live at Baum-
Walker Stadium. This is an exciting group of artists that are eager to make an impression as soon as they get to
Fayetteville.
“They are talented and industrious competitors who have a strong love for Arkansas and aim to build on the
program’s success.” We are very excited to see them in the Cardinal and White the following autumn!
