Following the Baltimore Ravens’ 34-10 victory over the Houston Texans on Saturday, head coach John Harbaugh spoke to the media about his top priorities.
“I just want to start off with this. I think it’s the right thing to do, so I’m going to share this with you. This was said to me before the game, and it means a lot to me,” he added.
The scripture reads, “Greatness, power, glory, victory, and honor belong to You since You are the owner of everything in heaven and on earth. Lord, the kingdom is yours. Harbaugh remarked, “You are the head of everything, the ruler.”

After mentioning the Ravens’ “mighty spirit,” Harbaugh said, “I just want to kind of give honor and glory where it’s due.”
In addition, Harbaugh received a lot of media attention on Saturday for dancing in the team locker room after the game.
Lamar Jackson, who rushed the ball for two touchdowns and passed two more, was the Ravens’ main weapon, according to Fox News.
According to CBS, Jackson gave a speech to the players at halftime to inspire the Ravens, who finished the half tied with Houston 10-10.
After outgaining Houston 234-68 and outrushing them 134-24 in the second half, there were concerns about what Jackson may have said to motivate the squad.
“The offense and they were both playing excellently, but we weren’t performing up to par. We went and put points on the board in the second half. We began to move the chains, move the ball, and appear more like ourselves.
The Baltimore Ravens will play host to the winner of the Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday night.
The upcoming game will mark the first time in the Ravens’ history that they have hosted an AFC Championship game, regardless of the opponent being the Chiefs or the Bills, as reported by the New York Post.
The game will also mark the first AFC championship held in Baltimore since the Baltimore Colts’ victory over the Oakland Raiders in 1971—the year they moved to Indianapolis.
