A VERY SAD knee injury has been reported in a Packers player.

On Sunday night, the Green Bay Packers defeated the Dallas Cowboys 48-32 to move on to the divisional round.

The Packers, who were seven points underdogs against the NFC East champion Cowboys, had a lot going for them.

They did, however, receive some unfavorable news following the victory, which may have an impact on them going

into their upcoming matchup with the San Francisco 49ers.

Kingsley Enagbare Acute Knee Injury, Per Packers News

According to ESPN’s NFL Nation Packers writer Rob Demovsky, following Sunday’s victory, Packers head coach

Matt LaFleur stated that linebacker Kingsley Enagbare’s knee “doesn’t look good” and questioned if star cornerback

Jaire Alexander would have returned to the game if they had needed him following an ankle injury.

Moreover, LaFleur stated that Enagbare was clearly upset in the locker room—not what any Green Bay supporter

wants to hear. Hopefully, when LaFleur addresses the media this week once more, we will have a better

understanding of the knee injury that Engabare sustained.

On Sunday, the 23-year-old linebacker played 25% of special teams snaps and 42% of defensive snaps. In addition, he registered two quarterback hits and a tackle.

This season, Engabare totaled 37 tackles, 8 stuffs, and 2 tackles for loss. At this stage of the season, losing a vital

special teams member is never easy. Having stated that, Green Bay will require a replacement for Engabare.

Alexander, on the other hand, entered the game on Sunday nursing an ankle injury sustained earlier in the week

after stepping on a teammate’s foot.

Regarding the veteran cornerback’s participation in Sunday’s game, there was some doubt. In the end, though, he

dressed and intercepted Cowboys QB Dak Prescott.

In order to upset the No. 1 seed San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round on Saturday, the Packers will need to

muster another full team effort. They will be hoping that Alexander’s ankle injury doesn’t cause him any problems

over the week. And in case you were wondering how big of an upset the Packers against the 49ers would be, they

started the game as 10-point underdogs.

According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, Engabare is thought to have suffered an ACL tear during Sunday’s matchup with Dallas.
