DEAL DONE: Jays nation signs 11 key players….

TORONTO — The Toronto Blue Jays have inked contracts with 11 players, including Cavan Biggio, Alejandro Kirk, and reliever Jordan Romano, until 2024.

Romano, from Markham, Ontario, was eligible for arbitration for the second time. Romano has made 36 saves in each of the last two seasons with Toronto.

Biggio earned a $4.21 million agreement, while Kirk signed a $2.8 million contract.

Biggio’s batting average this season was.235, following a sluggish start. Kirk batted.250 and had 43 RBI.

Other players signed by the Blue Jays include Genesis Cabrera, Santiago Espinal, Danny Jansen, Tim Mayza, Nate Pearson, Trevor Richards, Erik Swanson, and Daulton Varsho.

Slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was not included in the Jays’ list of deals, so he and the team will swap suggested wages, which will be decided by an arbitrator.
