HEART BROKEN: Taxas top player has a brain cancer….

Just before the holidays, Michael Bolton announced on social media that he needed “immediate surgery” after

receiving a brain tumor diagnosis.

The 70-year-old Grammy Award-winning musician stated on Instagram that the procedure went well “thanks to my incredible medical team,” and that he is currently recuperating at home with his loved ones.

“For the next couple of months, I will be devoting my time and energy to my recovery which means I’ll have to take a

temporary break from touring,” he stated. “It is always the hardest thing for me to ever disappoint my fans or

postpone a show, but have no doubt I am working hard to accelerate my recovery and get back to performing soon.”

Bolton began his career as a rock musician in the 1970s, going by Michael Bolotin, his birth name. However,

according to Turner Classic Movies, he rose to fame as a pop sensation as Michael Bolton in the late 1980s and early

1990s with songs like “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,” his rendition of “When a Man Loves a Woman,”

and “Love is a Wonderful Thing.”

In 2010, Bolton joined ABC’s popular reality series “Dancing with the Stars” and worked with Lady Gaga on a new

album.

He said on Instagram, “I am incredibly appreciative of all the love and support you have so kindly given me over the

years.” “Know that I’m keeping your private messages in my heart.”

Bolton promised to keep posting information on social media as soon as he receives them.
