Although Jordan Love’s performance this season has received the most notice, other Green Bay Packers players have improved as well. Among these guys is Kenny Clark, a defensive tackle.

Despite the fact that the San Francisco 49ers eliminated Green Bay in a sad loss, Clark and his teammates had several high points. For starters, no one expected the NFL’s youngest roster to go to the playoffs and challenge the top-seeded 49ers.
If the Packers had not made two critical blunders – one by Anders Carlson and one by Love – they would have had a good chance of making the Super Bowl this year. However, their loss to San Francisco terminated both their and Clark’s seasons.
Even if that’s the case, the Packers can still come back stronger by infusing the roster with young talent via the draft or by signing new free agents. In any case, the future looks bright for Green Bay.
Clark has been in the NFL for eight years, but his previous season with Green Bay remains his favorite. The defensive tackle explains why in an essay published on the Packers’ official website:
“It’s definitely right at the top,” Clark added. “I’m proud of how I performed this year, switching around and playing a lot of the five (-technique defensive lineman) and adjusting to it. I believe I’ve been really consistent all year and have set career highs in sacks and other stats this year.
Although he had a successful year with the squad, there is a potential he will be released and signed with another one next season. Nonetheless, Clark’s outstanding season coincides with the Packers’ unexpected success, making both parties better in the end.
