GOOD NEWS: New york giant new coach’s wife has six months….

We may have a list of inactives this weekend, including a head coach.

Rams coach Sean McVay and his wife, Veronika Khomyn, are expecting the birth of their baby “any day now,” he announced at a press conference earlier Friday.

Depending on when the baby arrives, he may be coaching from the sidelines on Sunday in the Rams’ Week 6 game against the Cardinals.

“Really feel fortunate that it’s been a smooth pregnancy, my wife has been incredible and, so, it hasn’t quite hit me yet,” the 37-year-old McVay said. “He’s active right now, and it appears that he’s ready to come at any time.

“What a blessing that will be.”

Veronika Khomyn and Sean McVay attended the 2022 ESPYs on July 20, 2022, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

McVay, a Super Bowl-winning head coach, did not specify who the interim coach would be, although it is likely to be Raheem Morris or Mike LaFleur.

LaFleur, the younger brother of Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur, was appointed as the Rams’ offensive coordinator in January after working in the same job for the New York Jets in 2021 and 2022.

Morris has been the team’s defensive coordinator since the 2021 Super Bowl season.

He was also the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2009 to 2011, including a 10-6 season in 2010, although missing the playoffs.

Morris also had a 4-7 record as interim head coach for the Falcons in 2020 before joining McVay’s staff.
