Tragic news from Baltimore: Ray Lewis’ son, Ray Lewis III, has died at the age of 28, according to TMZ.
Lewis was a standout running back at Lake Mary Prep High School in Florida, racking up 1,898 yards and 20
touchdowns before going on to play collegiate football at Miami, like his father. He also played for Coastal Carolina
and Virginia Union.
Lewis’ younger brother, Rahsaan, shared the news on social media, writing, “Really can’t believe I’m even typing this,
but RIP big brother.”
“A true angel, I hope you’re at peace now since I know you were really hurting. I don’t and will never have the words
for this anguish, dude….”I love you. I love you. I love you,” he said. “Your niece gone miss you but she will hear about
u over and over just watch over us all big bruh be our guardian I promise I’ll make you smile and proud.”
The circumstances of Lewis’ death were unknown at the time.
He most recently played for the Wyoming Mustangs in the Champions Indoor Football League.
