Kansas City Chiefs safety Justin Reid says Patrick Mahomes is already a viable contender for the title of best NFL
player of all time.
Reid praised Mahomes in an interview with TMZ Sports, calling the Chiefs quarterback a “force multiplier” who
brings out the best in people around him.
“You can be down 24 or up 15. Whatever it is, as long as No. 15 has the ball in his hands, you have a chance to win,”
Reid said. “So it’s encouraging as a defense that we simply strive to get him the ball as much as possible.
“This guy is a Hall of Famer. First ballot. Possibly the best player in NFL history. “And he just keeps improving.”
In his first six seasons as the Chiefs’ starting quarterback, Mahomes won two Super Bowl championships, two NFL
MVP honors, and two Super Bowl MVPs. The 28-year-old will make his fourth Super Bowl appearance on February
11 against the San Francisco 49ers.

Travis Kelce Shares ‘Nonstop Retirement Thoughts’; NFL Should Enjoy Chiefs vs. Eagles While We Can
Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs may be the greatest NFL tight end of all time, but even his perfection cannot endure forever.
Kelce, a key contributor in tonight’s “Monday Night Football” game against the visiting Philadelphia Eagles, has revealed that he is contemplating his football mortality and considering retirement.
In an exclusive interview, he admitted that he is always thinking about retirement, “more than anyone could ever imagine.”
“That’s the only thing I’ve never really been open about,” he explained in an interview with The Wall Street Journal. “It was uncomfortable. The pain. The lingering injuries – the ten operations I’ve had, each of which I can still feel today.”
For a regular player, a normal person, 11 years in the NFL at the age of 34 would make this type of thinking… normal.
