Fans of all ages wore purple and black to demonstrate their Ravens pride at the event, which sold out days in advance.

Tom Eikenberg of Havre de Grace went old-school, wearing his original Baltimore Colts shirt alongside Ravens stuff.

Carol Blackburn, 75, an Edgewood resident and avid Smith admirer, had a great time. “I’m your biggest fan,” Blackburn declared as she posed for a photo with the Ravens’ wide receiver.

Aberdeen is a very huge Ravens town, according to Mayor Mike Bennett, who also attended.

Fans paid $50 for a buffet dinner and the opportunity to meet and take a photo with Smith.

After finishing the buffet, customers were directed to the front of the restaurant for a meet-and-greet with Smith. Some attendees brought gifts, including an Aberdeen High Eagles baseball cap and greeting cards. Smith thanked everyone for coming to see him.

Smith, who turned 24 on Saturday, was even treated to a special birthday cake. The cake has a stadium shape.

The proprietor of Aberdeen Olive Tree stated that the event was highly successful.

“It was excellent. We sold out, and everyone turned up.
