The Green Bay Packers are one of the oldest and most renowned clubs in professional sports. Throughout its 105-
year history, literally dozens of Hall of Fame players have worn the Green and Gold (or Blue and Gold), and
numerous more are likely deserving of enshrinement in Canton.
On Thursday night, the NFL Honors program presented the 2023 NFL regular season honors, with Baltimore
Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson winning his second career NFL MVP, putting him on track to enter the Hall of
Fame himself. Cleveland Browns pass rusher Myles Garrett won the Defensive Player of the Year award, defeating
former Wisconsin Badgers star TJ Watt.
Matt LaFleur, head coach of the Packers, finished ninth in the Coach of the Year voting, which went to Browns head
coach Kevin Stefanski. Texans quarterback CJ Stroud won Offensive Rookie of the Year, while Packers wide receiver
Jayden Reed received a solitary third-place vote.
Tom Grossi, a die-hard Packers supporter, won the NFL supporter of the Year Award. Last summer, he toured all 30
NFL stadiums in 30 days and raised more than $500,000 for St. Jude. His PackCast on YouTube has more than
600,000 subscribers.
The largest accolade of the night for the Packers went to former players Julius Peppers and Steve McMichael, who
were inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame alongside Devin Hester, Dwight Freeney, Andre Johnson, Patrick
Willis, and Randy Gradishar.
Both Peppers and McMichael are better renowned for their stints with other teams, but both visited Green Bay at
some point during their Hall of Fame careers.
