Bass lashed out against United Airlines on Sunday, saying that the flight attendants forced his expectant wife to crawl down on her “hands and knees” in order to clean up a mess their kids had created while traveling.
Bass said, “My wife, who is 22 weeks pregnant and traveling with a 2-year-old and a 5-year-old, was forced to get on her hands and knees to clean up the popcorn mess by my youngest daughter by the flight attendant @united.” “Are you for real?!”
Bass, 35, uploaded a picture of his two girls sitting in the aisle and on the seat next to some popcorn.
With 10.9 million views, the tweet sparked a contentious flood of responses. While most people applauded the United Airlines employee for stressing that customers should clean up their own mistakes, some called for shame on the employee for asking Bass’ pregnant wife to clean up the mess.
