The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed five additional players to reserve/future contracts as they prepare to finalize
their roster for next season. This is in addition to the 17 players the organization already signed this summer.
The team announced the signing of outside linebacker David Perales, linebacker Tyler Murray, cornerback Josiah
Scott, defensive back Kalon Barnes, and defensive back Thomas Graham.
Perales, Murray, Scott, and Barnes all spent time on the Steelers’ practice squad at various points throughout the
season. Scott eventually signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he played four games. He previously spent the
2021 and 2022 seasons with Philadelphia, appearing in 29 games and making four starts.
Perales spent the summer with the Steelers before joining their initial practice squad. He was waived many times
during the season, but returned to Pittsburgh in time for their playoff game against the Buffalo Bills.

Barnes joined the Steelers’ practice squad right before Week 2 and has spent a little time in Pittsburgh this season.
The Carolina Panthers selected him in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft after he finished his career at Baylor
with three interceptions, 14 passes defensed, two and a half tackles for a loss, and a forced fumble.
