On Sunday night, when Detroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams broke Barry Sanders’ single-season touchdown

During a post-game interview on Sunday Night Football, Williams burst into tears and dedicated the game to his late

great grandfather. “I am grateful for the opportunity to play this game for my great-grandfather. I’m delighted he’s

looking down on me; I know I’m making him proud.”

He then abruptly switched tactics and conveyed a message directly to the detractors.

“And another thing: Stop playing us, man,” Williams urged Stark. “We are the Detroit Lions. We are the Detroit

Lions. Stop fooling with us. I don’t even watch television, but I heard everyone had already chosen the Packers over

us. Stop fooling with us. That’s all I have to say, man. Don’t let the tears deceive you. It’s all dog around this cup!”

After the game, both interviews went popular on Twitter, and Lions fans hailed it as the best post-game interview of

all time due to the total shift in emotions.
