Pittman will stay in concussion protocol and will be examined throughout the week, but early reports on Moss are positive, according to Adam Schefter.

“Colts’ RB Zack Moss plans to try to play Sunday at Atlanta, despite the fact that he injured his shoulder vs. the Steelers, per source,” wrote Schefter on ESPN. “X-rays on Moss’ shoulder were negative and he has to, in the words of a source, ‘see how progresses through the week.'”

Injuries are a major concern for the Colts as they pursue the AFC South title and the playoffs. Indianapolis’ depth was tested on Saturday against the Steelers. With Jonathan Taylor already out and Moss gone, Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson rushed for 157 yards against the Steelers.

As the Colts continue their playoff drive, they will face the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons have struggled this season, including a 9-7 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, but their defense ranks 10th in yards and eighth in scoring.

They’ve been a formidable opponent at home, going 4-3 with victories against the Texans, Packers, and Saints.

Having Moss back for the game, as well as Taylor and Pittman, will be a significant boost for the Colts as they look to finish off the struggling Falcons and secure a position in the AFC Playoffs.
