BREAKING NEWS Indianapolis colt has signed a new coach with…..

The Colts are coming off a rather good season in which they finished with a 9-8 record but failed to make the playoffs

yet again. Despite low expectations, the Colts improved on a 4-12-1 record from the previous season under new Head

Coach Shane Steichen, more than doubling their wins even without quarterback Anthony Richardson.

The Colts are now entering a key offseason, hoping to build on their progress from the 2023 season and around

Anthony Richardson. During the summer, the Colts, led by general manager Chris Ballard and head coach Shane

Steichen, will have to address the roster’s major questions.

The Colts have several holes on their roster, from wide receiver to cornerback and beyond. There is a lot to explore,

and we intend to do exactly that. From analyzing the Colts’ general team needs to profiling free agents-to-be and

debating whether or not they should be resigned, to examining potential free agent signings from outside the

organization and potential draft fits. The Colts are now entering perhaps the most critical phase of the offseason in

terms of roster turnover, which began with the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.

According to Over The Cap, the Colts will have $58,923,573 in cap space (based on a projected salary cap of

$248,000,000). However, the team may enhance this with a few roster moves, such as releasing tight end Mo Alie-

Cox, who would free up an additional $5,920,000 in cap space. With that much cap room, General Manager Chris

Ballard and his staff will have lots of options.

Looking forward to the Colts’ upcoming big dates this offseason. The next major event on the offseason schedule will

be the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. Here are some major critical dates to look out for over the offseason:

February 20th to March 5th, Franchise and Transition Tags – The Colts and the rest of the NFL will be able to use

franchise and transition tags on pending free agents. February 20th is the first day for teams to designate franchise

or transition players to wear the tag. This is a two-week period ending on March 5th.
