During an interview with Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area, newly appointed Los Angeles Chargers head coach
Jim Harbaugh reflected on his parting message to his previous team, the University of Michigan Wolverines, after
taking on a new role with the Chargers.
“When I was leaving the team and informed them I was joining the Chargers, I said, ‘Don’t forget that. Do not forget
that you did that. When others stop talking about it and it fades away, just the way you walk, carry yourself, and look
at each other. “It will be a head nod,” Harbaugh stated. “It will no longer be a deep, long bow, but it will remain so.
“Go do it again. Go do it again. They now understand what it is like to be a champion, to be undefeated. I’m really
excited for every player on the team and all of the coaches. The baton has been passed. Sherrone Moore is now
Michigan’s head coach, and I have this amazing chance because to the Spanos family.”
