The San Francisco 49ers’ final injury report heading into Super Bowl LVIII only includes one player with an injury designation, which is a good omen for a team seeking its first NFL championship in 29 years. The only player on the 49ers’ injury report for Sunday is defensive tackle Kalia Davis (ankle), who is listed as questionable.

Davis has only played 54 defensive snaps for the 49ers this season, with none in the postseason. He could be designated as a game-day inactive on Sunday, despite having participated fully in Friday’s practice.

Things have surely changed since the 49ers’ initial injury report on Wednesday. Tight end George Kittle (toe) and defensive lineman Arik Armstead (knee/foot) were limited in the team’s first practice of the week. They were promoted to full participation by Friday and did not receive an injury label.

Cornerback Ambry Thomas (ankle) and linebacker Oren Burks (shoulder), who were both limited in practice last week, were also limited on Wednesday. They were also fully enrolled on Friday.

The 49ers are one win away from capturing their sixth Super Bowl, and first since 1994. San Francisco is looking to put years of poor postseason finishes behind them.
