Another Super Bowl means another potential Super Bowl baby! As the San Francisco 49ers prepare to face the
Kansas City Chiefs (again), linebacker Fred Warner anticipates becoming a parent for the first time.
The NFL athlete, 27, and his wife, The Bachelor alum Sydney Warner, 28, are expecting their first child together, a
son, with a due date close to the February 11th championship.
Last year, when the Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles, two expecting fathers were on the field: Jason Kelce,
whose wife Kylie Kelce was pregnant with their third child, and Mecole Hardman Jr., whose girlfriend Chariah
Gordon went into labor during the game.
This year, all eyes are on Fred and Sydney, who will be 35 weeks pregnant on the day of the big game, which will be
held in Las Vegas.
Speaking with People about her plans, Sydney revealed she would be attending the game to support her husband,
stating that her doctors had already approved her to fly.
She admitted, “I’m quite superstitious. I asked, ‘Would you clear me to fly?’ And [my doctor] said yes,” adding:
“Everything is going well so far, so as long as nothing changes in a week, we’re all set.”
The expectant mother went on to say, “I was urged to be extremely, really hydrated and to avoid walking too much
on the day of. So I’m just going to make sure I get some vitamin C packets and avoid jumping around too much.”
