Celtics’ Jayson Tatum Gifts Jersey to Son of NFL Star QB After ….

Jayson Tatum, the Boston Celtics star, had a good reason for conducting his walk-off postgame interview with NBC Sports. Boston’s Abby Chin went shirtless after a 118-110 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night.

Prior to speaking with Chin, Tatum gave his jersey to a young fan who was watching the game at Barclays Center. He also signed it. But it wasn’t just any NBA fan who took home a piece of Tatum’s clothing.

Tatum had some good fortune in that jersey, as he delivered a great performance to help the Celtics improve to 42-12. The five-time All-Star scored a game-high 41 points on 14-of-26 shooting, adding 14 rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

Perhaps Wilson will be in attendance to watch Tatum play more than once this season. The nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback is expected to be released by the Broncos this offseason after only two seasons in Denver.

If the New England Patriots do not choose a quarterback at No. 3 overall in the draft, they may consider signing the veteran signal-caller. If that scenario plays out, the Celtics may need to set aside some courtside seats at TD Garden during the playoffs for Wilson and his family.
