Tom Coughlin, former NFL coach, revealed the death of his wife, Judy, on Wednesday. She was 77 years old.
“My cherished wife and our beloved mother and grandmother, Judy Whitaker Coughlin, passed away this morning
at the age of 77,” Tom said in a news release. “Judy was a fantastic woman in all aspects. She lived a loving life,
selflessly giving her heart and soul to others.
“Judy treated you like an old friend from the first hug to the last. “She was a mother to everyone on and off the field,”
he said. “For everyone who knew and loved Judy, the immensity of her departure is indescribable, but the enormous
generosity she showed others will always be remembered. Our hearts are devastated, but we know she is free of pain
and at peace with our Lord.
