Tennessee Football revealed the National Signing Class roster on Wednesday afternoon.
According to 247Sports, UT had the nation’s No. 13 recruiting class heading into Early Signing Day.
There are 27 players on the roster. The roster includes transfers and high school athletes from across the country.
Two significant transfers are Notre Dame tight end Holden Staes and Oregon State defensive back Jermond McCoy.
Ten of the 27 players have ties to Tennessee. Head Coach Josh Heupel stated that it is critical to recruit locally, and
the recruiting team spends a significant amount of time interacting with coaches throughout the state.
“We’re going to recruit them right away,” Heupel stated. “It doesn’t mean we will get every single one of them, but we
want to make sure that we’re very thorough in the evaluation process.”
Heupel is sure that the 2024 class is mature and will be successful both on and off the field at UT.
“They play dynamically,” Heupel said. “I love how competitive this group is. Some guys that I’ve previously
demonstrated leadership qualities.”
UT Football is excited to put these new players to work and incorporate them into the 2024 season.
