Jeffery Simmons, the Tennessee Titans’ top defensive tackle, has agreed to a four-year, $94 million agreement,
several reports said Friday.
Simmons will become the second-highest paid interior defensive lineman in the NFL, trailing only Aaron Donald of
the Los Angeles Rams, when the contract starts in 2024. Donald was given a three-year, $95 million deal prior to the
2022 campaign.
Simmons’ contract allegedly includes $66 million in guarantees with a $24 million signing bonus.
Simmons posted two tweets about the acquisition as it became public.
“Titans Nation, thank you for the past four years! “I am so grateful for you guys,” Simmons remarked.
