The “replacement Ravens” were not unharmed by their 17-10 loss to the Steelers. Will these injuries carry over into
the playoffs?
On Saturday, the Ravens dropped their season finale against the Steelers 17-10 at a cold, windy, and rainy M&T Bank
Stadium. The low-scoring game was not surprising, given the weather prediction and the Ravens’ use of makeshift
lineups to rest several starters before the playoffs.
The Ravens lost, but none of their players appear to have suffered major injuries.
Odafe Oweh, safety Geno Stone, and linebacker Del’Shawn Phillips all exited the game with injuries, although they
are unlikely to miss more than the first round bye.
Stone injured his knee, Oweh injured his ankle, and Phillips injured his shoulder during the game. Stone and Phillips
were injured on the same play in the fourth quarter and did not return, while Oweh left early in the game.
Following the game, Ravens coach John Harbaugh stated that the squad would take a break to rest before returning
to practice on Wednesday through Saturday.
