On Friday, the NFL suspended Cleveland Browns wide receiver Michael Woods for the final six games of the season
after he violated the league’s personal conduct policy.
Woods, Oklahoma’s sixth-round pick in 2021, has been sidelined this season due to a ruptured Achilles tendon. He
had an injury while working out in Texas with QB Deshaun Watson over the offseason and needed surgery in April.
The league did not explain why Woods was suspended.
The 23-year-old appeared in 10 games for the Browns last season, recording five catches for 45 yards. He also
contributed to special teams.
Prior to his injury, the Browns had hoped that Woods would play a larger role in 2023.
