The Baltimore Ravens seem even more dangerous following their electrifying win over the Los Angeles Rams on
Sunday afternoon, and victories like this go a long way in the playoffs.
It came down to the wire for both teams. After battling in regulation, they required overtime to determine the
winner. Ethan Evans, the Rams punter, kicked the ball away to Ravens punt returner Tylan Wallace.
Wallace recorded a number of blocks as some Rams defenders fell on the wet turf at M&T Bank Stadium. He twirled
around one defender and remained in bounds while others attempted to shove him out. He managed to stay on his
feet when someone dove for him. By the time he reached the Rams’ 25-yard line, he was completely alone.
“Main thing for me, especially with the weather, I just need to catch it first before anything,” Wallace was quoted as
saying. “But on that play, we had the return set up, and I was like, you know, this is the perfect opportunity to put the game away.”
Baltimore took the lead late in the fourth quarter with a 21-yard touchdown pass from Lamar Jackson to Zay
Flowers. The two then converted two points for a three-point lead. But Matthew Stafford was able to lead the Rams to a field goal on the following drive, forcing overtime.
