According to records obtained by the News4Jax I-TEAM, the business that operated the cargo plane that crashed near Houston after taking off from a Florida airport over the weekend also charters Jacksonville Jaguars players to away games.
Three individuals were killed Saturday afternoon when a cargo jet carrying Amazon Prime items crashed into Trinity Bay in Chambers County, Texas.
On Sunday, the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office announced that two bodies had been retrieved from the plane accident site in Trinity Bay, near Anahuac.
On Monday, National Transportation Safety Board inspectors examined wreckage from the 767 jetliner. Authorities were still searching for a third victim and the plane’s black box. They have not revealed the cause of the crash.

According to information supplied on Planespotter.net, the plane is 27 years old. Since its inaugural flight in April 1992, the plane has changed hands nearly a dozen times.
It was operated by airlines around the world, including Canadian Airlines, China Southern Airlines, LAN Chile, and LAN Argentina.
Atlas Air bought the jet in January 2016 and began operating it for Amazon Prime Air in April 2017.
The corporation maintains a global fleet of 747s, 777s, 767s, and 737s for private charters and freight transportation.
The Jacksonville Jaguars and other NFL clubs employ Atlas Air to fly to away games. During the 2017 and 2018 seasons, the Jaguars chartered a 747 from the airline.
