BREAKING NEWS: Giant coach makes a shocking statement about the…..

When I was growing up, there was lot of parents who gave their kids a poem called ‘If’ and it was about when things are
going wrong and you’re trying to keep your head. How hard is it at this point to trust yourself with what you’re doing?

Giants' Week 1 rite of passage can end with new regime

Look, I would argue that losing is difficult no matter what. Take great pride in what you do, what we do, and how we

do business, even if we do not always obtain the results we seek. So the difficult part is returning after that and going

on to next week, which is the National Football League. Make no excuses: this is not where we want to be.

Acknowledge it, move on, and prepare to play the next week; that is how you must approach it. Certainly – look,

everybody is human.

NY Giants: Here are 5 burning questions for the franchise's future

Everyone wants to win, and everyone wants to do whatever they can to help reach that goal. Extra meetings, staying

here as late as necessary, good practice habits, and I’d say we take satisfaction in doing those things, but the results

haven’t shown, so I recognize that this is a production business and we’re working really hard to achieve different

results.

When you watch the footage of yesterday’s game, the execution is clear; you discussed some of it last night. Do you

look for other signals when a season is going well and the score is high? Do I detect any indicators of effort leaking?

‘Do I notice indicators of guys lacking confidence?’ Do you need to take a new approach to find out what’s going on?

You always look at it that way, and the effort put out by those competitors has been commendable. Running to the

football, finishing blocks, blocks down the field, and finishing runs are all things you’ll look at as a coach. But, when

you’re in a rut, you want to make sure you’re doing everything you can on and off the field to give yourself the best

opportunity of breaking out of it.

These individuals competed. Certainly, we did not do enough, and it begins with me, but those men competed.
