The Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers will both enter the 2024 season with championship expectations. The
Packers will aim to expand on their success in 2023, while the Jets will hope to keep their four-time MVP quarterback on the field all season.
However, one former teammate refuses to play for the Jets or alongside Aaron Rodgers again.

As he reaches free agency this offseason, Mecole Hardman is unsure what awaits him, but one thing is certain: he
will not return to New York.
After the Kansas City Chiefs let Mecole Hardman walk in free agency last year, he signed with the Jets for a one-year
contract worth up to $4 million, with approximately $3.6 million guaranteed. Jets supporters were upset with the
season, and it’s unclear whether Hardman contributed to those feelings.
Obviously, Rodgers’ Achilles injury destroyed their season from the start, but the Jets didn’t get much support from
the rest of their team during the season. Hardman is not interested in attempting to make it work again.
Rodgers and the Jets will still have a few strong wide receivers to work with in the next season. Garrett Wilson is
their undisputed number one. With Rodgers’ comeback, Allen Lazard may be able to regain his prior form.
