Eric Bieniemy is returning to the college ranks to coach after 16 years as an NFL assistant. ESPN’s Pete Thamel and Adam Schefter
report that Bieniemy has agreed to a two-year contract as UCLA’s assistant head coach and offensive coordinator.

offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs and Washington Commanders will become UCLA’s next associate head coach and
offensive coordinator.
Eric Bieniemy startled many people when he became UCLA’s offensive coordinator, but the coach wants everyone to know that he
chose to leave the NFL.
Few quarterbacks can thrive behind a poor offensive line, as the Washington Commanders discovered or reaffirmed last season. Of all,
offensive tackles are regarded as the most essential position in a vacuum, and the Commanders had a pair of veterans filling those
roles in 2023.
With six picks in the first 102 of the 2024 NFL Draft and the most cap space in the NFL, Washington Commanders general manager
Adam Peters has plenty of options to improve a dismal offense from last season. Peters has the option of using his draft picks to
upgrade positions in need.
The Washington Commanders have experienced big changes this offseason, and with the draft approaching, many believe the
organization will select a new quarterback for Kliff Kingsbury as it leads the NFL landscape.
