Enterprise High School edge rusher Zion Grady committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide in November, just before
the end of his junior season. Grady decommitted following the retirement of famous Alabama head coach Nick
Saban, but has since reopened his recruitment, booking visits to many colleges, including Tennessee.
Grady has indicated an interest in returning to Tennessee and intends to make his college decision after visiting the
school for the fourth time.
Zion Grady’s decommitment from Alabama has garnered broad interest, with Tennessee a strong competitor for his
recruitment. His trips and ties with the coaching staff make the Vols an important factor in his decision-making

Jones County High School safety Javion Butts received his first SEC offer from the Tennessee Volunteers in
December, following an excellent junior season in which he recorded 51 tackles, 6 pass deflections, and 2
interceptions. The Vols used numerous coaches to create a unique experience for Butts, with Coach O’Rourke and
Coach Banks involved in the offer and Coach Heupel showing a strong interest in him. Butts has also emphasized his
ability to play in any secondary position for Tennessee, and he has scheduled an official visit with North Carolina this
summer.
