The Pittsburgh Steelers will spend the day monitoring a couple critical injuries as they wrap up preparations for
Week 14 against the New England Patriots.
Guard Isaac Seumalo (shoulder) and inside linebacker Elandon Roberts (groin) were the Steelers’ top injury
concerns heading into the week. On their first anticipated practice report, rookie Keeanu Benton (oblique) and
center Mason Cole (neck) were mentioned.
Running back Najee Harris missed the second day of practice due to a knee ailment. And, as the team enters its final
day of work, all of its critical injuries will be evaluated to determine their status against the Patriots.
The Steelers will hold a full practice today, according to Roberts, who stated that yesterday was only a walkthrough.
As a result, it was difficult to determine the significance of any injured players’ participation. Today will be the team’s
only full practice before taking against the Patriots.
If everything goes well, the Steelers might have all of their important players on the field and ready to go in Week 14.
If it doesn’t, Nate Herbig and Spencer Anderson may fill two starting positions on the offensive line, with Jaylen
Warren starting at running back.
If Roberts is unable to play on game day, Mykal Walker and Blake Martinez will most likely replace him.
The Steelers’ final injury report is scheduled to be revealed at 4 p.m. ET.
