DEAL DONE: Redskins has made an excellent trade…

With Super Bowl LVIIII behind us, the NFL offseason is almost here, which means that every team in the league will

be striving to rebuild their rosters in the hopes of producing a competitive club for 2024. Of course, one of the best

As is customary each year, the free agency season is a frantic time on the calendar, and this year will be no exception.

There are several major names on the open market this spring, including Kirk Cousins, Chris Jones, and Tee

Higgins, and where they wind up may very well tip the balance of power in both conferences.

With that in mind, here’s an early look at the top 50 players who will become free agents this offseason. It’s worth

Commanders’ 2024 NFL draft picks by round

Last month, the Washington Commanders began a vital offseason of change by signing Adam Peters as general

manager, bringing him from the San Francisco 49ers. Peters, regarded as one of the NFL’s top talent evaluators,

arrives in Washington at an ideal time.

After appointing Dan Quinn as head coach, Peters’ next step will be to rebuild the roster. The Commanders are in

terrific form heading into free agency next month, as they have the most salary cap room in the NFL, with over $70

million available and the potential to produce more.

Then there’s the 2024 NFL Draft. Washington is also well-positioned in the draft. The Commanders have the No. 2

overall pick, and it is assumed that they will select their quarterback of the future among Caleb Williams, Drake

Maye, and Jayden Daniels.

In addition to the No. 2 overall pick, Washington has eight more picks in the April draft. Here’s an overview of where

each Commander’s pick falls.
