“After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation,” Red

Bull said in a statement on Monday.

“This process, which is already underway, is being handled by an independent specialist barrister. The company

takes these issues very seriously, and the inquiry will be finished as soon as reasonably possible.

“It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time.”

According to The Times, Horner, 50, was accused of inappropriate behavior by a female coworker who filed a

complaint with the team’s parent business.
