Patrick and Brittany Mahomes were each other’s MVPs long before Patrick rose to prominence as the Chiefs’

quarterback.

The beautiful couple were high school sweethearts and celebrated their first wedding anniversary in 2023.

“One of the best weeks of my life, marrying your best friend is one of the greatest things you can do! 🙏🏼,” Brittany

gushed in an Instagram tribute to her husband on their one anniversary.

“Nothing beats spending life with you and our lovely children! … Year 1 was exciting, but there’s plenty more to come

As she mentioned, they’ve already begun expanding their dream team, with two children joining their brood

beginning in 2021.

Brittany and Patrick started dating when she was a junior and he was a sophomore at Whitehouse High School in

Texas.

During a 2020 interview on “Today,” Patrick compared their first Christmas together to the 2008 love comedy “Four

Christmases.”

“We had to go to each one of our family members’ Christmas parties, and it contains a whole day of going from house

to house trying to make sure that we see everybody,” he said.

“I think at that point we had been dating for a couple months,” he said.

“Just a typical adolescent kid turning up for a family meal, nervous and everything.

The couple went to Brittany’s junior prom together in May 2013.

Patrick charmingly described his girlfriend as the “best prom date a guy could ask for” in a collage that he still

proudly displays on his Instagram profile.

They seemed overjoyed to be together, and the athlete donned a gold vest that matched the sequins on Brittany’s

skirt.

In May 2014, the couple dressed up for prom again, and Patrick was seen smiling with his sneakers undone.
