opponents San Francisco will face in the 2024 season.

As NFC West champions, the 49ers will meet the NFC East champions, the Dallas Cowboys, the NFC South

champion, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the AFC West’s best team, the Kansas City Chiefs. They will also face

every team in the AFC East and NFC North, as well as every divisional opponent twice.

As the last whistle of the 2023 NFL season blew, San Francisco 49ers players flocked to social media to offer their

thoughts on the season.

From achieving lofty goals to the season’s most difficult moments, and everything in between, the players’ posts

showed how great this year was. With lessons learned and memories cherished, the squad celebrated achieving the

pinnacle of professional football: the Super Bowl. Their impassioned sentiments reflected up the significance of the

2023 season and its unique place in the hearts of the Faithful.

The San Francisco 49ers announced that they signed the following two free agents to one-year contracts:

Brown IV (6-5, 270) was originally selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the fifth round (174th overall) of the 2021

NFL Draft. Following his release from the Rams on August 31, 2021, he joined the team’s practice squad the next

day. Brown has made 14 tackles in 12 games (three starts) throughout his three-year tenure with the Rams (2021-

23). Brown played seven games in 2023 and made five tackles.
