According to AMDG Sports, San Francisco signed Colton McKivitz to a 1-year, $7 million contract

 

In 2024, the offensive line of the San Francisco 49ers performed a respectable job of defending Brock Purdy,

allowing the fewest rushes, hits, pressures, pressure percentage, and sacks—ranking 7th, 13th, and 5th, respectively.

San Francisco signed their right tackle to a contract extension in order to address the offensive line.

Colton McKivitz has a one-year, $7 million contract extension with San Francisco, which keeps him under contract

through the 2025 season, according to AMDG Sports.

In the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 153rd overall, McKivitz was selected by San Francisco. In 2020, McKivitz

made 14 appearances and made three starts. He received a 53.1 PFF Grade, one sack allotted, and no penalties.

McKivitz was cut by San Francisco in 2021, however was later signed back to their practice squad and was added to

the active roster on November 10th. With two sacks allowed, no penalties, and a 55.5 PFF grade, he started one

game.

On March 10, 2022, McKivitz agreed to a one-year contract worth $895,000. In 2022, McKivitz made 13

appearances, including one start. He got a 69.3 PFF Grade, no penalties, and no sacks allowed. He suffered a high

ankle injury that kept him out of four games.

On March 9, 2023, McKivitz agreed to a $4,610,000, two-year contract extension. In 2023, McKivitz began each and

every game. During the regular season, he had two penalties, nine sacks allowed, and a 65.1 PFF Grade. In the

postseason, he also registered a 63.1 PFF Grade, zero penalties, and zero sacks allowed.
