Sergio “Checo” Perez turned 34 this past Friday, marking the beginning of his Formula 1 career. Several photos of the
party with his wife Carola Martinez as well as wishes from Red Bull, Ferrari, and even Formula 1 driver Carlos Sainz
surfaced on social media.
The Mexican driver’s favorite team, Club America, also joined the celebration.
The most heartfelt congrats to Checo, though, came from Carola, who posted a picture of the couple kissing in front
of an elevator mirror on Instagram Stories.
In addition to praising his driver, Red Bull Racing acknowledged his role in the success he is now enjoying on his
birthday: “Happy Birthday, ‘Checo’ Perez. We wish you an amazing day.”
And they reminded him, “The fans love you,” attaching a hashtag ‘Happy Birthday’ and pictures of his fans partying
with him in his several professions.
Formula 1 also posted a birthday greeting, “Happy birthday, ‘Checo’!”
They also mentioned the driver’s unusual presentation before the Las Vegas Grand Prix in a second message.
Club America remembered from Mexico that the driver and the soccer squad had an incredible second half of the
year: “Happy birthday, Checo Perez! It’s to be historic for Americanistas.
Several other accounts, including Silverstone, also messaged the Mexican, and even the Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz,
writing: “Happy birthday, wey,” in an article. The adjective “wey” is typical of Mexico City.
The Bahrain Grand Prix, which takes place from February 29 to March 2, is the first race in the Formula 1 schedule.
Red Bull drivers have won this race two times as a team, three times as drivers, and in 2023, they finished 1-2.
