Beating them are Jewish Canadian-American Pulitzer Prize winner Saul Bellow (1915–2005) and his wife Janis
Freedman, who became parents to Bellow’s fourth child (their second) in 1999 at the age of 84. Bellow is the author
of “The Adventures of Augie March,” “Herzog,” and “Seize the Day.”
The third person on the podium is Bernie Ecclestone, the former head of Formula One motor racing. In 2020, he was
89 years old when their son was born to his 44-year-old wife, Fabiana Flosi.
Second position goes to Julio Iglesias Sr. (1915–2005)—why does 1915 seem to count for so much? The patriarch of
the well-known Iglesias singing family, he married Ronna Keith (42) at the age of 90 and had a child at that young age.
However, none of them can compare to Ramjit Raghav, who is currently ranked #1. Raghav rose to fame in 2012
when he became the world’s oldest father by fathering his second son at the age of 96.
