After the latest media training session, Emmanuel College swingman KJ Jones approached current Portland Trail
Blazers player Damian Lillard to gain additional insight, as the majority of his Formula Zero Elite Camp colleagues
left for the next scheduled event.
“I simply asked him, ‘How do you respond to questions that you might find awkward to respond to in front of the
camera or people you don’t know well?'” Jones informed Andscape. “I was grateful for the straightforward and
honest advise he offered me. Here, it goes beyond just basketball. Additionally, many of the lessons he is imparting
will improve your character, humility, interpersonal relationships, and ability to make others feel good.
It relates to athletics. However, it will also, without a doubt, improve us as people.
Lillard was asked about his trade request to the Miami Heat during an exclusive interview at his Formula Zero Elite
Camp on August 18. He declined to provide information since he was aware that doing so could result in an NBA
fine.
On July 1, Andscape was informed by a source that the all-time top scorer for the Blazers had requested a trade from
the team, with a strong preference to go to the Miami Heat. In a memo distributed to all 30 teams on July 28, the
NBA threatened to discipline Lillard and his agent Aaron Goodwin should they ever suggest, either in private or in
public, that Lillard will not “fully perform the services called for under his player contract in the event of a trade.”
