With virtually no upgrades and the ability to be the quickest anywhere, the RB 19 had a huge advantage over the
competition.
The fact that the lead was constantly ahead to win every race does not, by itself, reveal how big the lead was. All the
races will be won by a car that is 3–4 tenths ahead, however a car that is 1-2 seconds ahead will also win.
Put another way, you can win each race by a minute or by five seconds. Every race will be counted as a victory for
you.
It’s a means of surviving. During last year’s testing in Bahrain, the same thing took place. Though others disagreed, it
was evident that RB was in a different league:D
It is unrealistic to believe that other teams will be able to compete with RB, in my opinion. Either Newey absolutely
blew it or someone else performed a spectacular engineering feat.

Regardless of the most recent round of automobile launches, though, this was true. It’s possible to catch up if you fall
behind during the last year of regulations, primarily if the winning team has an FIA arrangement that interferes with
their platform. However, it’s too late now.
In order for us to have at least three or four true battles like Vega instead of just one, hopefully the RB20 will have
some special feature that will render them vulnerable in specific tracks.
The truth is that even though the management and supporters of Ferrari dislike to acknowledge it, they enjoy flash
and wow. Every Ferrari TP gave in to this, which frequently included lofty declarations and led Ferrari down fruitless
avenues. The F1 media will label it conservative, plodding, and dull, which will irritate the tifosi. It’s time to finally
disregard them.
This time, I’m glad Ferrari is being prudent and sticking to the fundamentals. The SF21, in my opinion, is a prime
illustration of that. We may see some benefit from this strategy since the SF-24 has a far better foundation.
